On behalf of the Lane County Human Resource Association (the Eugene-Springfield, Oregon Chapter of Society for Human Resource Management), we invite you to attend the NHRMA 72nd Annual Conference & Tradeshow in Sunriver, Oregon. We hope that you will join us in beautiful central Oregon from Wednesday, September 29 through Friday, October 1, 2010 for an exciting educational experience at world-renowned Sunriver Resort.
In our profession, we constantly experience change – changes from legislation, culture, strategy, technology, wellness and values. With these challenges, along with the addition of daily changes in the financial and employment picture, our Human Resource positions evolve even more into a critical and strategic partnership within our organizations.
Our 2010 Conference theme - “The Changing Environment of HR” - will address each of these areas and provide you with the tools and strategies you will need to face these changes and lead your business (and yourself) into the future with confidence. Our tagline states “When changing values meet economic necessity, transformation takes off”. This year’s workshops will arm you with information and resources that you (and your employer) will need as you strive to become your best. You will also have ample opportunity to learn of the latest resources and services available to HR professionals as you visit with our sponsors and tradeshow participants.
Amidst the tall pine trees and clean air, you will have a unique opportunity to network with fellow professionals in a relaxed and natural setting. On Thursday night, you can kick it up a notch during our evening social event that will have your toes tappin’ to the upbeat sounds of a live dance band! We encourage you to attend in “country casual” attire (jeans), as well as extend your stay on into the weekend with your family, and enjoy the many incredible options that central Oregon has to offer.
