Presenter Frequently Asked Questions

 

Thank you for agreeing to present at the NHRMA 80th Annual Conference & Tradeshow. NHRMA is thrilled to provide a high-level educational and networking experience for their attendees, loaded with innovative tools and ideas that can be implemented in their own communities. As a presenter, thank you again for the part you'll play in making that happen in 2018.
 
Our goal is to help prepare you and ensure your experience is a comfortable and successful one. Making sure that you’re registered and that you’ll have all the tools you need for a smooth presentation is crucial.

 

Can I still make changes to my workshop Presenters?

Yes, you can add or remove presenters to your workshop here by emailing nhrma@conferencesolutionsinc.com. If you would like to add a new speaker, please provide their name, title, organization, phone number, address email and biography. Note: Changes made after July 11, 2018, will not be reflected in the printed Conference Program.

 

What is my proposal number?

You can find your proposal number in your acceptance email from Olivia@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com sent on December 21, 2017. Email nhrma@conferencesolutionsinc.com if you cannot locate this email. 

 

What is the date/time of my presentation?

You can find the date/time of your presentation in your acceptance email from Olivia@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com sent on December 21, 2017. You can also reference the Agenda page and utilize the search function: nhrmaconference.org/2018/agenda.

 

Where will my workshop be held?

The NHRMA 2018 Conference is taking place at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade CenterWorkshop session room assignments will be listed in the printed Conference Program book that you receive at the Registration Desk. If you need help locating your room, please refer to the property map in your Conference Program, or ask one of the Registration staff members for assistance.

 

What is the audio-visual and seating set up in my presentation room?

Each workshop session will be set in a theater-style with a podium and head table in front, and a materials table in the back near the entrance. 

The following audio-visual equipment will be supplied in rooms:

  • LCD Projector
  • Screen
  • PC Computer
  • Slide Advancer
  • Wired Podium Microphone
  • Wired Head Table Microphone

If you require additional equipment, we are happy to connect you with the audio-visual provider to place an order and make direct payments. Please communicate any additional needs that you have NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, AUGUST 3, 2018 to nhrma@conferencesolutionsinc.com. You will receive the audio-visual provider’s contact information at the beginning of July.

 

Should I bring my presentation with me? 

All presentations will be pre-loaded on all session room laptops. Please set your PowerPoint presentations to widescreen format. Due to their unique nature, tablet or Macintosh users should plan to bring their own computer and adapters to connect to the LCD projector. Given the short break between some sessions, it is important that you have fully tested your presentation file and equipment before you arrive at the Conference. 

 

Where should I book my hotel reservations? 

NHRMA has contracted one host hotel, Hotel Murano. Visit the Accommodations page to view details, check availability, and book your room. Hotels are expected to fill quickly.

 

Are you still seeking 2018 Conference Speakers? 

At this point, the agenda is finalized and NHRMA is no longer seeking workshop presenters. To be notified on the 2019 Conferece, we encourage you to sign up for the NHRMA Conference mailing list by clicking here and click the Join Our Mailing List tab on the left to be notified of the 2019 Call for Submissions dates and deadlines.
