Conference Information

Where will conference registration be located?

All sessions for the NHRMA 2024 Conference & Tradeshow will take place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon located at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Portland, OR 97232.

 

I would like to reserve a hotel room in Portland. Which hotel should I contact?

Visit the Accommodations Page for information on NHMRA’s host hotel.

 

What is included in the Conference registration fee?

Standard Conference Pass: Standard Conference registration includes entry to the Tradeshow, concurrent sessions and general sessions, refreshment breaks, two breakfasts, two lunches, and the welcome reception on Tuesday evening.
All-Access Conference Pass: All-Access Conference registration includes everything listed in the Standard Conference Pass plus access to the Executive Forum sessions.
VIP All-Access Conference Pass: VIP All-Access Conference registration includes everything listed in the All-Access Conference Pass plus VIP benefits which allows attendees to skip the registration line onsite, reserves seating in all sessions and includes a $100 donation to the SHRM foundation.

 

Who qualifies for the SHRM Member registration fee?

A paid member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in good standing. Please click here for more information on SHRM Membership.

 

Can I just attend one day of the Conference?

Yes, one-day options are available for purchase through the registration site. One-Day Conference Registration fees include entry to the Tradeshow (on Monday and Tuesday only), workshops, general sessions, and conference meals scheduled for the selected day.

 

Which workshops are considered Pre-Conference Workshops and require an additional fee?

Pre-Conference Workshops are offered on Monday, September 23 2024 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. These workshops are NOT included in Full Conference or One-Day registrations and require payment of an additional fee.

 

What is the NHRMA Executive Forum?

The NHRMA Executive Forum is an interactive forum designed specifically for seasoned HR professionals looking to get more than a few simple takeaways. This session will allow for a deeper dive into the content and provide experiential learning-focused opportunities, full of innovative best practices and concrete takeaways.

 

I have some dietary restrictions or need accommodations. How do I inform the Conference Planners?

Any dietary restrictions or accommodations information will be entered during the registration process. A member of our team will be in contact to assist you, as needed. Please note that due to vendor limitations, some requests may be combined (i.e. receiving a meal that is dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian) or not accommodated.

 

Online Registration

I am having trouble getting started with the online registration.

Once opened, you will visit the NHRMA registration website which will be linked at the top of this page. Select the “New Registration” button and follow the subsequent prompts. 

Each registrant is identified by their email address; if you have already registered or someone has registered on your behalf using your email address, you will not be able to use that email address again. Please contact the Registration Manager for more assistance: Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com

 

I cannot find my Registration Confirmation email.

A registration confirmation email is sent automatically once you have completed your online registration. It serves as your official invoice and is sent to the email address you used to register (as well as the email in the “additional email address” field, if entered).
 

If you have not received your registration confirmation, please follow these steps:

  1. Wait 60 minutes after registering. Occasionally registration confirmations are slightly delayed if the system is particularly busy.
  2. Check your clutter and spam folders. The subject of the email will be “Confirmation for NHRMA 2024 Conference and Tradeshow”.
  3. Email Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com and request that your registration confirmation be resent.

 

How do I edit my contact information or add items to my order after I have already made my purchase?

If you would like to edit your order after you submitted your registration, please email Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com for assistance.

 

I selected "check" as my payment option, but now I want to pay with a card.
Visit the Modify Registration page and enter your email address and reference number (found in your registration confirmation email). You will be directed to the payment page where you can select “credit card” and enter your payment details.

 

Policies

I need to cancel my registration. What is the cancellation policy?

We are happy to accommodate a refund for your purchase if you are unable to find a substitute prior to the deadline. Cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com. Cancellations received by August 16, 2024 will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given for cancellations received after August 16, 2024. 

 

I still want to attend the Conference but need to cancel one of my optional agenda items. What is the cancellation for optional agenda items?

Cancellations of individual conferences items, such as Pre-Conference Workshops and special sessions received by August 16, 2024, will receive a full refund. We are unable to offer a refund after August 16, 2024. Substitutions of additional items can be made without a charge.

 

I can no longer attend the Conference, but my colleague is available. What is the substitution policy?

Know someone else who is interested in attending? Payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person, simply by emailing Register@ConferenceSolutionsInc.com. Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration. Optional/individual conference items are non-transferrable and will be cancelled upon substitution according to the cancellation policy for optional agenda items. Substitutions can be made at any time.​

 

Credits and Materials

Are there any continuing education credits available for this Conference?

Yes, the Conference Committee has applied for HRCI and SHRM Certification credits based on the current schedule. 

 

Can I obtain a Certificate of Attendance?

You will not obtain a Certificate of Attendance for the conference itself, but you will receive certification of the sessions you attended to apply for credits.

 

After the Conference, how do I submit my HRCI or SHRM Certification credits?

Please use the Recertification Credit Form that will be emailed to you to keep track of the workshops you attended. For questions about recertification policies and procedures, please visit the recertification page at www.hrci.org or www.shrm.org.
